Old – new prospect of Boxing Coach Michael Kozlowski.

Many years ago, the father brought for training to the Russian Boxing coach, Michael Kozlowski, his 8 years old son, Joshua Nubia … In this fat boy who, besides, wore glasses, it was difficult to see the future boxer, that especially did not bother father of Joshua, who considered boxing for his son loosing weight.
In a year of irregular trainings the Boxing trainer, Michael Kozlowski, has seen a lot of talent in the fat student. The boy was very much coordinated and picked up technique of the Soviet school of boxing very quick, besides it, despite the pamperedness (the only child in family), was very persistent …
Once the trainer has asked Jashua, what he wants from boxing?
- I want to be the Champion! – the kid has unperturbably answered.
- Then listen – “Coach Mike” continued – from this point on, you are no longer named Joshua, You are Joe! You – the future of the American boxing, You are the future Joe Luis – the World champion in heavy weight!!! But, to become the Great Champion, you should be tall as this locker box, and the trainer has shown on the trainer’s boxing locker with high as 2 meters!. For this you should work a lot and jump … a lot.

Young Prospect of Boxing Coach Michael Kozlowski, Joe Nubia.

The experienced boxing trainer noticed, how the boy eyes started to sparkle …
After that conversation, in one of the days, father of young Joe, (that’s how everybody started to call new prospect of trainer, Michael Kozlowski), told the coach, that he is not sure that his son will grow such tall …
Days, months, years were passing by … the boy started to grow and loosing weight and by age of 15 was much taller of all other students … Joshua Nubia began participating in boxing competitions. But the first fights have shown that the boy psychologically is not ready to struggle for a victory. Joe was very soft and belonged to a category «mama’s boy», rather than to a category of teenagers in which fathers are proud, seeing their sons gain authority among the class mates at school or in the street …
The first defeats on a ring, which was more, than victories, have psychologically broke the young man and he disappeared … Then Joe again appeared in a boxing Gym and again vanished …. Each time when Joshua came back in boxing, the trainer, Michael Kozlowski, said to young student, that he needs to be engaged only in boxing! That only this sport can lift him on the same height with the greatest heavyweights of all times, such as Joe Luis, Flojd Patterson, Mohammed Ali … But the older Joshua was getting, the more difficult it was for Russian boxing trainer talk to him … He was not disappearing from a vision of the trainer, but also did not show that he is ready to sacrifice inner freedom for the sake of boxing …

And in one of the autumn days of 2014, at the next returning of Joshua Nubia in the gym, the trainer has told to the undisciplined student:
- Joe, I always telling to you that God has blest you to be the Great Boxer and when you were a boy I did not force you to be engaged only in boxing, but now you are already far not the child and should, for the first time make the decision: or you sacrifice everything to become the real boxer, and for the rest of your days to enjoy your life as the Great Champion, or, please, never come to train to me!!!
The next day, Joe Nubia has come to the gym, has approached the boxing trainer Mike and said:
- Mike, only you always trusted in me, I want to be an Olympic Champion …
- Well, – “Coach Mike” has told, – lets look how God concerns you … Prior to the beginning of «Gold Gloves» tournament there were a few weeks, chances to win these competition practically are not possible, but lets risk! …
The first real training days everyday life for the old-new prospect of the boxing trainer, Michael Kozlowski, Joshua “Joe” of Nubia has begun. In the mornings he ran, and in the evening worked with the trainer in the gym … And so, six days a week …
Joe has easily enough won two fights of the «Golden Gloves» tournament and has reached the finals.
The day before the Finals of one of the most prestigious tournaments in amateur USA boxing, Joshua got sick … The body did not sustained mental and physical activity and failed … For one day Joshua lost more then 3Lb of weight and came on fight very weak … Losing fight, in the beginning of the third round when Joe understood that his forces still remained and he can fight for a victory, by right punch he seriously hurt the opponent, but physical weakness won Joe’s boxing Spirit …
The trainer and his student, right after the «Gold Gloves» tournament, began to prepare, not less prestigious, boxing tournament in America, «RINGSIDE», in Kansas City …

From August, 5th until August, 8th of 2015, Joshua “Joe” Nubia has won four fights on the International Boxing tournament “RINGSIDE” and has received the first belt of the Champion !!!
