2012 Olympic Champion, Luke Campbell, continues to study the boxing technique with his American boxing trainer Michael Kozlowski.
After more than a year away from training with his Russian-American Boxing trainer, Luke resumed his work again with Coach Mike.
From Great Britain, Luke Campbell flew to New York to train with Coach Mike and continue improving his boxing technique and foot work, both of which likely led to his defeat in his last battle for the world title against American, Jorge Linares.
Russian Boxing Coach of Champions, Michael “Coach Mike” Kozlowski, showed Luke his exciting new boxing gym and introduced Luke to his new prospects!
Not having worked together since 2007, the first joint training session revealed that Luke had lost a lot of Coach Mike’s technique.
Boxing Trainer Michael Kozlowski, during one of their training sessions, jokingly told his English student that God had awarded him the talent to quickly grasp his boxing technique and the work of his feet, which led him to the Gold Medal at the Olympics in London. Unfortunately, Luke grasps the technique of less talented trainers just as fast.
The Russian coach, who built most of his Champions in the USA, once again reminded Luke Campbell that he is not as naturally talented as the other American Olympic Champions such as Oscar De La Hoya or Cuban, Rigondeaux, to get to elite professional Boxing himself. But if Luke continues to work hard on Coach Mike’s Technique then he will be able to adequately occupy his place in the World of Great Professional Boxers!!!!
European Champion, Olympic Champion and contender for the World title in professional Boxing, Luke Campbell visited the home of Boxing Coach Mike where he once stayed during his training before the 2008 European Championships and the 2012 Olympic Games. Michael Kozlowski introduced him to his two-year-old son, Victor.
