Boxing trainer, Michael ‘Coach Mike’ Kozlowski, explains the decline in quality Boxing.

In an opinion of Russian boxing trainer, Michael ‘Coach Mike’ Kozlowski, who has been raising his Champions in the USA for more than 20 years, both amateur and professional boxing is getting worse and worse, even compared to boxing at the beginning of our century…
The boxing trainer of Champions expressed his opinion, there a lot of Fake Boxing !!!
He explains: “Boxing trainers, unfortunately, in large numbers come now to the Boxing Gyms not as a teachers, but as businessmen!
Their coaching work is not a hard work on the boxing technique and raising the Champion, but they more worry about making money on a boxer who, by virtue of his natural gifts, begins to show results in the ring. And these are the businessmen whom I call PARASITES in boxing and who, because of their mediocrity, cannot or do not want to raise the Champion, because it requires patience and, most importantly, it requires A LOT of WORK! They take a ready-made prospect and using their circus work on their mitts in the style-fashion of “a la Freddy Roach” or “a la Floyd Mayweather”, destroys that, although not in large quantities, was laid by nature in a hard working student!
Instead of day by day educating their student in his boxing technique, trainers customize their training processes and their students doing same standards work as a Champions that are already on a map at current time.
Such trainers, who have not raised a single boy from the street to the level of the city or region Champion, because of their mediocrity, but who have great talent to make motivations by bla-bla-bla kids or fairly mature boxers! These trainers do not understand that the style and work on the mitts of such boxers as Pacquiao or Mayweather, suitable ONLY for the these boxers!!! But there are more Great Boxers, such as Sugar Rey Robinson or his namesake, Sugar Rey Leonard and the others old Boxing School Champions, who just need to learn not only the Boxing technique, but also the boxing training process, in which the work on the mitts is minimized!!! ”
