Juan Roman wins a Bronze medal in 2011 National USA Golden Gloves !

The 2011 National Golden Gloves were held last Saturday, April 30 in Indianapolis, Indiana. At the end of the 114 pound final fight, the announcer called the bronze medalist, Juan Roman, to step into the ring. The twenty five year old 2011 New York Daily News Golden Gloves Champion, Juan Roman, was presented with the Best Sportsmanship Award of 2011 National Golden Gloves!

Recognition at the Tournament of Champions in Indianapolis was the biggest event in his three year boxing career.

Coincidentally, another student of boxing coach Michael Kozlowski,Yuri Foreman, also won the bronze medal from the 2001 National Golden Gloves which were held in Reno, Nevada, ten years ago.
