Jill Emery Fights for NABF Welterweight title

(AUG 27) After many years of struggle, top amateur athlete, Jill Emery, has finally gotten her chance to fight for a belt in the US. On September 27th at the Tachi Palace, in Lemoore, California.
Emery, who was the oldest woman on the USA boxing team will fight on the same card as the WBC World Champion Carina Moreno, who was the youngest member of that illustrious team.
Emery’s shot at the NABF Belt is her first step towards a World Title. If she wins, she becomes the WBC Mandatory in the super lightweight division. Her coach, Mike Kozlowski says that Jill, who can fight in three weight classes, deserves to win. “She’s hard working and dedicated to her sport”.
